King Koopa: Got a death wish?

A rather intimidating and detailed depiction of a most beloved iconic spiked turtle king... with spikes.

I was going to make a finished version which would eventually take place at night, showing Bowser taking over the Mushroom Kingdom. He being the ruler in center-stage, in front of a vast army of rallying troops with bowser flags. Behind this sinister spectacle would have been a stormy sky with a hill in the distance complete with Peach's Castle burning! Add a small pinch of several looming Doomships silhouetted against a full moon, and presto it would have actually been good...

I gave up about halfway through because the paper got kinda dirty and wrinkled and I messed a Goomba's face up.

Shame..

Anyway, please tell me what you think! As my first submission here I need to get my bearings before I draw anything else. All comments and questions are welcome!

Ill accept commission's if I like the the idea.

This took 6-8 hours of on and off work, mostly doing fine details. Made from scratch with pencil, fine tip marker, and pencil crayons. Sketched it out first with pencil, then went over it. Made on plane old computer paper. Nothing has been done digitally, it comes directly from my scanner. Trust me though, It looks much better in person.

Done from scratch, only using a bowser picture on Google as a reference when needed, and through the help of my best bud Dylan!
